UA Bookstore | Spirit Shop

The University of Akron Bookstore and UA Spirit Shop have emerged as go-to destinations for those seeking gifts that embody Zips pride. The bookstore not only caters to academic needs with textbooks and course materials but also offers general merchandise, including clothing and dorm room essentials.

Abby Prekop, a bookstore manager with an impressive 25 years of experience in the industry, shared insights into the holiday offerings. For students, the bookstore presents various options, including popular items such as holiday ornaments, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. Even logoed office supplies are available for those wanting to infuse school spirit into their workspace.

Surprising parents becomes a joy with mom and dad merchandise, ranging from bumper decals to license plate frames and wooden desk accessories. The UA Spirit Shop complements this by offering Akron Zip gear, including apparel, gifts, and souvenirs such as mugs, keychains, and car decals.

Abby suggested checking the bookstore's website or the Spirit Shop's tab run by Fanatics for the most popular items. Moreover, with the option for store pickup when ordering online, students can make their holiday shopping a breeze.
