Save the date for A ZipsGuide 'shop small & local' Holiday Market! The market, featuring small, local artists, artisans, makers and crafters from the Akron-area (with a focus on downtown) will be held Monday, Dec. 2 from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Jean Hower Taber Student Union at 303 Carroll St. in Downtown Akron.
The event is free for vendors, community members and, of course, students. Parking on campus is easy using a QR code scanner or by pre-paying for your pass at: www.uakronpark.com.
The market will include dozens of vendors selling their wares pre-holiday; Hands-on crafting activities, Opportunities to donate to the Akron Foodbank, a doorprize raffle and more. Come find gifts for your family, friends, coworkers, puppy - or hey, yourself! No one's judging.
